A young guachinche in the heights of La Laguna, inside the Finca Manchón de las Flores in El Ortigal. Canarian cooking with local produce, and wide views over the northern slope from around seven hundred metres up. It opened in December 2025 and is their first and only premises, so it does not yet appear in the trade directories.
La Casa del Queso stands at Montaña Alta, in the midlands of Santa María de Guía, and works as the visitor centre for Flor de Guía cheese. It brings together a reception shop, a room where the making of the cheese is shown, two museum rooms, a tasting space and a cheese workshop. The car park and the Montaña Alta viewpoint are right next to it, looking out over the north of Gran Canaria. It is one of the stops on the island's cheese route.
