2. Data we process and purposes
Management of enquiries sent through the contact forms.
Registration and management of the user account and publication and management of Listings in the directory.
Sending of commercial communications, only if the user has given their consent.
Statistical analysis of the use of the Website.
3. Legal basis
Processing is based, depending on the case, on: the consent of the data subject, the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures (for example, the provision of the requested directory service) and the legitimate interest of the controller.
4. Retention
We retain the data for the time necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, thereafter, duly blocked, during the legal limitation periods:
Contact data / enquiries: until the enquiry is resolved and a reasonable period thereafter.
User account and Listings: for as long as the account remains active; after termination, the data is deleted unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.
Billing data (where applicable): during the applicable tax and commercial periods (up to 6 years).
Commercial consent: until the data subject revokes their consent.
5. Recipients and data processors
We do not transfer data to third parties except by legal obligation. The following provide services as data processors, with the appropriate contractual guarantees:

Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics 4 (audience measurement).
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — Meta (Facebook) Pixel (advertising measurement).
6. Server location and international transfers
The servers where the Website is hosted are located in the European Union (Germany), so the hosting of the data does not involve transfers outside the EEA / European Economic Area. However, some analytics and marketing providers (Google — Google Analytics — and Meta — Meta Pixel) may process data on servers located outside the EEA, mainly in the USA. These transfers are covered by the guarantees provided for by the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679): Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and/or the provider's adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 7. Your rights
You can exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection, as well as withdraw the consent given, by writing to info@islas24.info and providing proof of your identity. The exercise of these rights is free of charge.
8. Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (www.aepd.es).
9. Minors
The Website is not directed at minors under 14 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data of minors of that age without the consent of the holders of parental authority or guardianship. If we detect such processing, we will proceed to delete it.
10. Commercial communications
We will only send commercial communications if you have given your consent. Each communication will include a simple and free mechanism to unsubscribe (unsubscribe link or reply to info@islas24.info).

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. The forms may be protected by anti-spam systems; where applicable, the privacy policies of the corresponding providers will apply.

In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail.
13. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your e-mail address and language preference for the sole purpose of sending you our updates (new content, events and featured places). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via a double opt-in process, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every e-mail. Newsletters are sent from our own servers, without external e-mail marketing providers. We keep your data until you withdraw your consent.
