Mirador Altavista

The Mirador Altavista occupies the upper part of the Altavista district of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on the landscaped slope that links the neighbourhood with the Paseo de Chil. The city council opened it to the public in 2019, with three stepped terraces and a fourth one set aside for group relaxation techniques, along with young trees, lighting, shade pergolas and an adjoining parking area.

Mirador de La Atalaya

Mirador del Corazón de Jesús

The Mirador del Corazón de Jesús occupies the summit of the montaña de La Cilla, in Artenara, and is crowned by a sculpture dedicated to the Sacred Heart. The piece, by the sculptor José Luis Marrero, was installed in 1996, is made of marble dust and stone and reaches eight and a half metres in height including its pedestal. It is reached by a stepped path that starts to the right of the gate of the mirador de La Cilla.

It looks out widely over the western side of the island. Several walking routes start from the surrounding area, among them the climb to the Pico de La Bandera itself and the classic San Pedro route, which drops down towards Agaete.

A lookout on Calle Canadá, within the tourist area of Maspalomas, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, on the southern side of Gran Canaria. It stands inside the resort, set back somewhat from the beach front. The municipality runs from the coast up to the summit of the island and combines beach and mountain tourism. Its coastal strip holds the Special Nature Reserve of the Maspalomas dunes.
