Mirador del Balcón (Andén Verde)
Glass-fronted clifftop viewpoint on the west coast, overlooking the Anden Verde, the ocean and, on clear days, Tenerife.
Mirador del Balcón, also known as Andén Verde, looks out over the Atlantic from a cliff of around 200 metres on the west coast of Gran Canaria, in the municipality of La Aldea de San Nicolás. It was fully renovated with a modern glass platform that juts out over the drop.
From it you can take in the run of cliffs known as the Dragon's Tails and, when the air is clear, the outline of Teide on Tenerife. It is a favourite spot for sunsets and for night-sky observation.
