Mirador de las Dunas offers one of the best panoramas of the Maspalomas dune field, a protected landscape of shifting sand unique to Gran Canaria. From here you can take in the sweep of sand down to the shore.
It is a convenient point to admire the reserve without entering it, respecting its fragility. At sunset the light over the dunes is especially photographed.

It is reached along Calle la Montaña, in the upper part of the municipality, and its whole purpose is the panorama of the surrounding landscape, taken in from the high ground itself. A simple stop to add to an unhurried tour of Breña Baja.
