The Centro de Interpretación del Aloe Vera in Yaiza is one of three such centres that Aloe Plus Lanzarote runs on Lanzarote, alongside those in Punta Mujeres and Arrieta. Staff accompany visitors along the route and explain why the island's climate and volcanic soils favour a high quality aloe, how an aloe leaf is cut properly and how its fresh gel can be used at home.
