Playa Dorada
Urban Playa Blanca beach, sheltered with shallow water, very family-friendly and Blue Flag.

Playa Dorada is the best-known urban beach in Playa Blanca. Two protective arms form a wind-sheltered bay with shallow, calm water, ideal for swimming with children. It holds a Blue Flag and has lifeguard service, sunbeds, umbrellas, showers and toilets, with a promenade, bars and restaurants right behind it.
It is a short walk from the centre of Playa Blanca and has parking nearby. A comfortable, safe choice for a family beach day, without the logistics of the Los Ajaches coves.
Did you know? It is in fact a man-made beach, shaped by breakwaters that cut down the swell, which is why it has its half-moon form and such calm water.
