Monumento natural de La Corona is a protected natural area of almost 1,800 hectares in the municipality of Haría, in the north of Lanzarote. It takes in the volcano of the same name and the malpaís, the badlands left by its eruption more than 21,000 years ago. The cone rises to 600 metres and the whole formation runs for almost ten kilometres, crossed by waymarked walking routes.
