Piscina Natural del Pichon (Punta Mujeres)
A locals-walled natural pool in the fishing village of Punta Mujeres, in Haria.
El Pichon is one of the natural pools of the village of Punta Mujeres, in the municipality of Haria, in the northeast of Lanzarote. Residents walled these pools to protect them from the swell, which makes them safer than other natural pools on the island.
Punta Mujeres has more than two kilometres of pools along its seafront promenade, with access steps, sunbathing areas and nearby bars. The water is crystal clear and there is a zone designed for children, in a quiet setting of white houses facing the sea.

Playa de Puntalarga is a small bay on the coastline of Fuencaliente de La Palma, about a hundred metres long and twenty metres wide, with a mix of sand and callao pebbles. Small rocky outcrops shelter it from the sea and the swell stays moderate. A natural rock pool lies right beside the beach, and the whole corner is ringed by fishermen's huts, with fishermen often at work there.
