Ruta al Volcán de la Corona (Monte Corona, desde Yé)
Trail from the village of Yé to the crater of the Volcán de la Corona, with views of the Chinijo Archipelago and the northern badlands.

The Volcán de la Corona, in northern Lanzarote, is a cone over 600 metres high with a crater some 450 metres across, formed millennia ago and responsible for the lava tubes that hold the Jameos del Agua and the Cueva de los Verdes. The route starts in the village of Yé, by the church, and climbs a dirt track through vineyards.
From the crater rim open views of the volcano's interior, the badlands and the coast; to the north stand out the Chinijo Archipelago and La Graciosa. It is a short but steep route; walking along the crater edge is forbidden and dangerous, so respect the signs and stay on the trail.
