Bodegon Tamanca

In the Las Manchas district, Bodegon Tamanca is one of La Palma's great classics: you eat inside a cave carved into the rock, with wine from its own bodega and Canarian cooking of grilled meats, potatoes, cheeses and stews. On La Palma no one talks about guachinches, but a bodegon like this plays the same role as the Tenerife guachinche: local produce, house wine and an unhurried table, in a one-of-a-kind setting.
