La Palma Outdoor

La Palma Outdoor works out of El Paso with a qualified and experienced team, and is licensed by the Government of the Canary Islands under registration number I-38-5-0003615.1. Its own programme is built around the Tajogaite volcano, reached on a circular route of eight kilometres and roughly four hours at medium difficulty; there is also a longer version of about five hours that ends with the sunset and a snack. The rest of the in-house catalogue takes in the Marcos y Cordero crossing, eleven kilometres and around six and a half hours through tunnels and ravines, and the Garafía route, ten kilometres at medium to high difficulty, with or without pick-up.

For something gentler there is the guided visit to the Cueva de Las Palomas lava tube: one kilometre and two hundred metres of walking, about two hours, low difficulty and a minimum age of five. Alongside its own routes the company sells trips run by partner operators, among them the guided kayak to the Cueva Bonita, responsible dolphin watching, stargazing, the visit to the telescopes at the Roque de Los Muchachos, and the demanding crossings of the Ruta de Los Volcanes, the Roque de Los Muchachos and the Caldera de Taburiente. Each activity is booked ahead and carries its own cancellation deadline.
