Mirador Jardín de Las Hespérides
The Mirador Jardín de Las Hespérides looks out over the La Galga ravine, in the municipality of San Andrés y Sauces on the island of La Palma. It offers wide panoramic views and holds the monument to the Garden of the Hesperides, a tribute to the ancient classical myth and to its link with the Canary Islands. It is reached by car along the northern LP-1 road, at the Los Galguitos neighbourhood.

The Venus stands for the goddess Juno or Hera, a symbol of mother nature and of fertility. The ram is a solar symbol and comes from the golden rams of the myth and of the Argonauts. The island of La Palma has been associated with the myth of Juno because the Carthaginians and Romans who knew it called it Junonia in honour of that deity. The viewpoint is reached by car along the northern LP-1 road, at the Los Galguitos neighbourhood.
