Blue Magma Diving
Blue Magma Diving is a dive and training centre at Puerto de Tazacorte, on La Palma. It dives along the west, east and south coasts of the island so that trips remain possible for much of the year, and it works in small groups. The centre offers guided snorkelling, dives for certified divers from shore or boat, scooter diving, try dives for beginners, and boat outings along the west coast.
The centre is an official MARES centre and works within the SSI system. Its premises include an office, a classroom, a workshop, an equipment room, showers and a wet area, and it has its own vehicle and boat, with instructors, a technical service and a skipper. Shop visits are by prior appointment, and the centre does not provide a transport service for clients.
Dives are spread across the island: the west coast with La Bombilla, Los Arcos, La Lava, La Murga, Puerto Naos and Charco Verde; the east coast with Los Cancajos, La Catedral and La Salemera; the south around Fuencaliente with Malpique, Las Cruces and Las Cabras; and the north with El Varadero, Charco Azul and Puerto Espíndola. There are guided snorkelling sessions with an SSI digital certification, scooter diving and try dives without a time limit. Boat outings along the west coast show the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
