Mirador de la Cumbrecita
A natural balcony at about 1,287 m in El Paso overlooking the Caldera de Taburiente, with views over the vast amphitheatre of ravines and pine forests.
Mirador de la Cumbrecita sits in the municipality of El Paso, within the Caldera de Taburiente National Park, at about 1,287 metres. A narrow valley ends abruptly, leaving visitors poised above the vast basin of the caldera.
From here you take in an amphitheatre of ravines cloaked in Canary pine, with clouds often spilling over the ridges. It also serves as the trailhead for several short walks around the nearby viewpoints.
