Salinas Marinas de Fuencaliente
Working sea-salt pans on black lava at the southern tip of La Palma, beside the Fuencaliente lighthouse. A landscape of white, black and blue that is one of the island's most photographed spots.

Salinas Marinas de Fuencaliente is a traditional saltworks located in the south of La Palma island, in the municipality of Fuencaliente de la Palma, beside the coastal road towards El Faro. It produces sea salt under the Sal Marina Teneguía brand.
Its specialty is natural sea salt made by traditional solar evaporation, without chemical processes. Between seven and eight fine-grained harvests are gathered each year, yielding a certified organic product. The same site houses the themed restaurant El Jardín de la Sal, a cafeteria and a shop.
The El Jardín de la Sal restaurant holds a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2026 and a Guía Repsol recommendation, set in a striking landscape of salt ponds facing the Atlantic and the Teneguía volcano.
