Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos
A world-class observatory at 2,400 m on the summit of La Palma, one of the cleanest skies on the planet.

The Roque de los Muchachos Observatory crowns the summit of La Palma, within the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. It hosts telescopes from many countries thanks to the quality and stability of its sky, protected by law.
It can be visited on guided tours showing some of its telescopes, with prior booking. The setting, above the sea of clouds, also offers extraordinary panoramas.
