Museo la Casa Roja
The Museo de la Casa Roja occupies an early twentieth century manor house in Villa de Mazo, on La Palma, and is laid out over two floors. One holds the Centro Divulgatorio del Corpus, the only state museum devoted to the festival, with reproductions, documents, illustrations and photographs of the arches, carpets and walkways that dress the streets of the municipality. The upper floor houses the embroidery museum.

The Museo de la Casa Roja is housed in a manor house from the beginning of the twentieth century and is made up of two floors. The first is given over to the Centro Divulgatorio del Corpus, which shows reproductions, documents, illustrations and photographs relating to a festivity deeply rooted in the culture of Villa de Mazo. Its highlight is the laying of arches, carpets and walkways along the main streets, where natural materials are used to build a rich play of colour as a simple offering at the passing of the Blessed Sacrament. It is the only state museum devoted to the feast of Corpus Christi.
The upper floor holds the Museo del Bordado, with a wide range of an embroidery tradition that occupies a prominent place in the municipality. Embroidery and openwork were the backbone of craft on La Palma throughout the twentieth century, and three types predominate on the island: Richelieu, popularly known as Rechi, realce and punto perdido, alongside others such as punto atrás, the brick stitch or the herringbone stitch. The work is applied to traditional costume, table linen, church ornament and household trousseaux.
