Museo del Puro Palmero
Museo del Puro Palmero stands in the Parque de Los Álamos, in San Pedro, within the municipality of Breña Alta on La Palma. It is devoted to the puro palmero, the cigar-making tradition preserved on the island, and frames the visit as a journey from the distant past to the present, with attention to the tobacco harvest and to the handmade production of the cigar.

The museum draws together several threads around a single product: the history and economy built on tobacco in La Palma, the legends attached to the craft and the controversies that have accompanied it. The work of the torcedores, the artisans who shape the cigar by hand, is central to the account.
Alongside the exhibition, the centre presents a selection of craft production linked to the island tradition. The Parque de Los Álamos places the museum in the mid-altitude belt of Breña Alta, the district where tobacco growing took root on the island.
