La Haciendita del Carmen is an organic farm located in the Barranco del Carmen, in Santa Cruz de La Palma. It is a family business focused on sustainable farming and rural tourism, operating since 2022.
It produces organic fruit and vegetables for direct sale, offers organic seeds and a «from the garden to your basket» option to pick your own vegetables, as well as guided visits for groups and tastings of organic products. It holds GLOBAL G.A.P. and Canary Islands Government Organic Product certifications, and keeps animals on the farm (peacocks, sheep, rabbits and tortoises, among others).
