Finca Pepe is a classic Majorero farm in the mountainous heart of Betancuria, run by a third-generation herder. Goats, donkeys, camels, peacocks and other tame animals share the grounds, and the estate includes a small free ethnographic museum and a rest area.
At its core is the dairy, where Majorero cheese is made daily from the farm's own goats' milk. Visitors can watch the milking and cheese-making, tour the stables with the owner's own commentary and taste the cheeses, in a simple, authentic experience that also works well for families.
