Tenerife Surf Point - Surf School
A surf school on Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina in Playa de las Américas, Arona, a few metres back from the water. It teaches small group classes from age fourteen, semi-private and private sessions and dedicated courses for children, plus surfskate and seasonal camps. There is no need to bring your own kit: boards and wetsuits come with the lesson. It also runs equipment rental, board storage, a shop and changing rooms with showers.
Tenerife Surf Point is a family-spirited school at Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina 32, in Parque Santiago 2, a few metres from the beach. The programme covers every level, from someone who has never stood on a board to a surfer polishing their technique: small group classes from age fourteen, semi-private and private sessions, and courses built specifically for children. Alongside those come surfskate, balance training, and the camps and special programmes the school adds each season. The instructors teach in Spanish, English, Italian, Ukrainian, Russian and Latvian.
A private lesson runs about two hours and a group lesson about two and a half. It includes all the equipment, an opening section of theory and dry practice on land and then a full session in the water, and it closes with a personal review of the photos and video taken during the activity. All you need to bring is a swimsuit, a towel, water and sun cream. The school also rents boards, wetsuits and accessories, stores boards, runs a shop, and has changing rooms with showers and toilets. Booking goes through the website, WhatsApp or the phone, and sessions are set around the tides and the state of the sea.
