Ika Ika Surf Camp & Surf School Tenerife
Ika Ika Surf Camp & Surf School Tenerife has been running since 2013 in Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, and works in line with the Federación Canaria de Surf. Its instructors teach in Spanish, English, Italian, French and German, and the school runs open group lessons, private groups from two people upwards and one-to-one sessions. Board, wetsuit, boots, locker and shower are included, and slots follow the day's tide.
The school opened in 2013 facing the waves of Playa de las Américas and has kept a team that teaches in Spanish, English, Italian, French and German, working in line with the Federación Canaria de Surf. Lessons come in three two-hour formats: an open group class, a private group from two people upwards, and a one-to-one session with dedicated technical attention.
The meeting point is on Paseo Guadalajara, in Playa de las Américas. Slots open according to the tide of the day, and booking goes through the website or WhatsApp, with confirmation on the same channel. Children under thirteen are not taken in the open group class; for them the school arranges a private group or a one-to-one session. A professional photographer shoots the pupils in the water.
