Mercado Artesanal Los Lajares sets up on the public square of Lajares, in the middle of the village, within the municipality of La Oliva in the north of Fuerteventura. La Oliva council refers to it as the village craft market and highlights its welcoming atmosphere, the traditional crafts of the area and local products that are not easy to come by at other points of sale on the island.

Mercado Artesanal Los Lajares is set up on the public square of Lajares, in the middle of the village, within the municipality of La Oliva in the north of Fuerteventura. La Oliva council refers to it as the village craft market and singles out its welcoming atmosphere, the traditional crafts of the area and local products that are hard to find at other points of sale.

The square also serves as a stage for council programming. The council has brought the food event Los Lajares de Tapeo here, with dishes by local chefs, cookery workshops and live music, and the market has hosted children's workshops on puppets, kites and giant storybooks as part of the Olivarte festival and the village fiestas.

Mercado de la Abejera is a prefabricated iron market hall in the La Abejera district of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Its parts were ordered from London and reached the city aboard the steamer Nubia in 1897, and in 1947 the structure was dismantled in the city centre and rebuilt in this neighbourhood. The market's own website describes the building as semi-abandoned, with a single fruit stall still working out of the 18 it once housed.
