Flounder Boat SAiling Trips
Flounder Sailing runs sailing trips from the harbour of Morro Jable in Fuerteventura, either with shared places or for a private group, and cetaceans and dolphins may appear along the way. The shared trip lasts about three and a half hours and includes drinks, tapas, snorkelling gear, insurance and hotel pick-up as far as Costa Calma. An 80 hp motorboat is also available for hire, for which a skipper's licence is required.
Flounder Sailing sets out from the harbour of Morro Jable in Fuerteventura with a fleet of sailing yachts: the Grand Soleil 46 El Geito and the Jeanneau Sun Fast yachts Flounder Dos and Flounder Tres, each carrying ten to twelve people. On the shared trip, which lasts about three and a half hours, a professional skipper sails the boat and cetaceans and dolphins may appear along the way. Drinks are served on board together with a snack of designation-of-origin cheese, quince and guava jam, toasts and olives, and the trip includes snorkelling gear, comprehensive insurance and hotel pick-up and drop-off as far as Costa Calma.
For those who would rather sail without other passengers, the four-hour private trip reserves the yacht for a group of up to eight people with its skipper, with the same drinks, tapas and snorkelling gear. A special rice meal for groups can be added on request. The third option is to hire the 80 hp motorboat Flounder Cuatro and head out without a crew skipper, which requires a skipper's licence.
