OBYCAT Experience
OBYCAT Experience is a local boat excursion company based at the sports marina of Caleta de Fuste, in the municipality of Antigua, with departures also from Puerto Rico on Gran Canaria. Its catamaran programme combines sailing, swimming and time to relax on board, with a paella buffet and drinks included, and the fleet also takes in an underwater-view boat aimed at families. Booking is handled on the company website.
OBYCAT Experience runs sea and land excursions on Fuerteventura and on Gran Canaria, holding an official tourism intermediation licence and working with its own crew and guides. The starting point on Fuerteventura is the sports marina of Caleta de Fuste, where the catamaran is boarded and where the underwater-view boat also sets off on a short trip suited to children. The catamaran programme brings together sailing, swimming time, a paella buffet and drinks, and the whole boat can be chartered privately.
On land the offer takes in a buggy safari across volcanic landscape and dunes with transfer included, the full-day Discover Fuerteventura route through Betancuria and the dunes, and Sabores del Norte, built around wine and the produce of the northern part of the island. On Gran Canaria the company sails from Puerto Rico, with morning or afternoon departures, an adults-only sunset version and an LGTB friendly one. Gift cards are sold as well, and booking and confirmation run through the company website.
