La Tasca de Arana
A home cooking tasca in La Laguna where, since January 2019, all the food and desserts have been prepared gluten free. The team made the switch after training with the Tenerife coeliac association. The specialities are grilled meats and huevos rotos, the desserts are made in house, and there are lactose free dishes too for anyone who needs to avoid it.

La Tasca de Arana is a home cooking bar restaurant that one day decided gluten would no longer go into its dishes. That was in January 2019, after training from ACET, the Tenerife coeliac association, and since then everything that leaves the kitchen, desserts included, has been gluten free. The only exception the house itself points out is at the bar: alongside the food they serve traditional beer, which does contain gluten.
At the table, classic home cooking rules. Grilled meats and huevos rotos are the signature, and the desserts are made in house. If you also avoid lactose, you will find suitable dishes. For a present, gift cards are sold on their website.
