The Museo de la Seda Las Hilanderas, a silk museum and working workshop on Calle Manuel Taño in El Paso, La Palma, occupies a historic house. It holds a collection of pieces that sums up the Ruta de la Seda, and in the same rooms the craftswomen work in front of visitors using very old methods and tools, just as in the sixteenth century. The workshop describes itself as the only one in the Canaries and the last in Europe to keep the process entirely by hand.

Mirador de La Cancelita stands in Los Barros, in the municipality of El Paso on La Palma, and is the end point of the Lomo de las Chozas - Mirador de la Cancelita route in the Caldera de Taburiente National Park visitor guide. That trail skirts the northern slope of Pico Bejenado through pine forest, springs and ravines, with views into the Caldera, and reaches the viewpoint at 552 metres.
The Mirador de Los Brecitos stands at 1,010 metres in the municipality of El Paso, on the island of La Palma, and is a fitting place from which to take in the Caldera de Taburiente National Park and Pico Bejenao. It is also the starting point of one of the most beautiful trails on the island, the path that descends to the Las Angustias ravine. Parking is not permitted at the viewpoint, so the spot has to be reached by taxi service.
