Mirador Pico del Inglés
Panoramic viewpoint in the Anaga massif with almost 360º views.
The Mirador de Pico del Inglés crowns one of the highest points of the Anaga massif, around 990 metres above the sea, within the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. From its railed platform the panorama takes in almost the whole island: the laurel forests of Anaga, Santa Cruz and La Laguna, and on clear days Teide in the distance and even Gran Canaria on the horizon. You get there by car along the Anaga summit road, with parking beside a short passage that leads to the balcony. The spot was first called Pico de las Aguilillas, but it changed its name after an Englishman fell to his death here, and the name stuck for good.
Did you know? The Anaga massif has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2015 and holds the highest concentration of endemic species per square kilometre in all of Europe.

Mirador Llano de Las Ventas is an astronomical viewpoint in the municipality of Breña Baja, on La Palma, standing at around 1,320 metres and looking out over the island's eastern coast. It is fitted with a marker post that points to the Pole Star, a planisphere for locating the main circumpolar constellations, and several interpretive panels. It belongs to the island network of sixteen astronomical viewpoints.
