Mirador de Jardina
The first viewpoint at the gateway to the Anaga Rural Park, with sweeping views over La Laguna, Los Rodeos airport and, on clear days, Mount Teide.

The Mirador de Jardina sits above San Cristóbal de La Laguna, at the point where the town gives way to the wooded slopes of the Anaga Rural Park. It is the first viewpoint you reach on the climb into the massif, and its elevation opens up a broad perspective over the Aguere valley and the northern side of Tenerife.
From the platform you can take in La Laguna, the runway of Los Rodeos airport and, on clear days, the outline of Mount Teide and even Gran Canaria on the horizon. It has parking and easy access, making it a natural stop before setting off on the walking routes of Anaga.

Mirador de Izcagua
Mirador de Izcagua stands in the El Pinar area of Puntagorda, in the north-west of La Palma, right beside the Mercadillo del Agricultor farmers' market. The website of the La Palma Biosphere Reserve presents it as a set of floating viewpoints: walkways edged with glass railings that reach out over the ravine and give a sensation of flight. It is reached by car from the village centre heading north, along the camino del Pinar.
