Faro de la Entallada
Historic lighthouse on a 200-metre cliff at Fuerteventura's closest point to Africa, with views over the south-east coast.

The Faro de la Entallada stands on Punta de la Entallada, a cliff of around 200 metres on the south-east coast of Fuerteventura, within the municipality of Tuineje. Brought into service in the 1950s, it is an unusual building for the archipelago and marks the island's closest point to the African continent.
Beside the lighthouse a small walkway and viewing platform give sweeping views of the rugged coast and the ocean. It is reached by a narrow, winding road climbing up from Las Playitas.
