Leading modern-art museum of the Canaries, in a historic Vegueta building.

The Atlantic Center of Modern Art (CAAM) occupies an 18th-century building on Calle Los Balcones in the Vegueta district. It preserves the original facade, with an interior redesigned by architect Francisco Sáenz de Oiza for exhibition use.
The center hosts modern and contemporary art exhibitions by local and international artists, with a focus on the art of the three Atlantic shores. It is a regular stop within the historic center of Las Palmas.
