Yellow Boat Mogan. Boat Trip Gran Canaria runs small-group boat outings along the south-western coast of Gran Canaria from Puerto de Mogán. There are two set programmes: a trip of about three hours with a snorkelling stop in a sheltered cove, gear, lunch and drinks on board, and a gourmet experience combining an hour of cruising with a dockside tasting of Canarian wines and local products. The boat can also be hired exclusively.
The boat is based at Puerto de Mogán, the harbour on the south-west of Gran Canaria known as the little Venice of the Canaries for its canals and colourful houses. It can be reached by car, by local bus or by water taxi from Puerto Rico, and there is parking near the harbour. The crew is local: Marta, a former diving instructor, is the captain, with Rubén as guide. They work in Spanish and English.
The vessel has a wide deck, a shaded rear terrace and a panoramic upper deck. The snorkelling trip lasts around three hours and stops in a cove with calm, shallow water, suitable for people who have never used a snorkel; life jackets are carried and the crew stays in the water alongside guests. The gourmet experience splits into an hour of cruising past cliffs and beaches and two hours of tasting at the dock. Outings are booked through the website or by WhatsApp.
