Tim Parchikov. Barreras de la visión: photography at CAAM San Antonio Abad, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Until 7 February 2027, CAAM San Antonio Abad in Vegueta shows «Barreras de la visión», an exhibition by the Russian-French photographer and filmmaker Tim Parchikov with work made in the Canary Islands on his trips to the archipelago, a look at its natural and urban landscape. It is open Tuesday to Sunday in the historic quarter of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and admission is free.
«Barreras de la visión» brings together photographs that Tim Parchikov (Moscow, 1984), a Paris-based photographer, cinematographer and film director, has taken in the Canary Islands on his trips to the archipelago. It is a look at the islands' natural and urban landscape, noted for its «magical, metaphysical» vision between imagination and reality. The show is produced by CAAM, part of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, and Parchikov's work has been shown in Russia, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, the United States, Korea and China.
From 15 October 2026 to 7 February 2027 at CAAM San Antonio Abad, Vegueta, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 to 21:00, Sunday 10:00 to 14:00. Free admission. Guided tours Monday to Friday for groups of at least five, on request at deac@caam.net.
