Mirador Astronómico Pico de la Nieve (Sendero PR LP 3)
Astronomical viewpoint and summit on the rim of the Caldera de Taburiente, a stargazing point of La Palma's Starlight Reserve.
Pico de la Nieve rises on the rim of the Caldera de Taburiente, above 2,200 metres. It is at once a hiking destination (trail PR LP 3) and one of La Palma's astronomical viewpoints, the world's first Starlight Reserve, with one of the cleanest skies in the northern hemisphere.
The path climbs through Canary pine to the caldera's edge, where the view opens onto the great rocky cirque and often the sea of clouds covering the mid-slopes. At night, far from light pollution, the spot offers exceptional viewing of the Milky Way and stars. A route of medium-to-high difficulty.

Senderos de La Aldea is the network of walking routes in the municipality of La Aldea de San Nicolás, in the west of Gran Canaria, promoted by its town council.
