Cascada de los Tilos
A waterfall at the end of a short, easy trail through laurel-forest tunnels, in the Los Tilos Biosphere Reserve (San Andrés y Sauces). One of La Palma's most popular walks.

Cascada de los Tilos lies in the municipality of San Andrés y Sauces, in north-eastern La Palma, within the Los Tilos Biosphere Reserve, a protected laurel-forest enclave. A short, easy trail leads to the waterfall through tunnels carved into the rock and damp laurisilva woodland, one of the island's oldest and most valuable ecosystems.
The walk suits almost everyone and ends facing the waterfall, in a cool, green setting quite unlike the island's volcanic south. It is one of La Palma's most-visited routes; suitable footwear is advisable, as the path can be wet, along with a torch for the tunnel sections.
