Astroland Tenerife
Astroland Tenerife runs guided stargazing in Teide National Park, on a private plot away from the roadside viewpoints and car parks where most such outings take place. The session combines professional telescopes, an explanation of the constellations and night-sky photography, with access to a mountain refuge that has a bathroom and a fireplace. Groups are kept small and the commentary is given in Spanish and English.

The experience lasts around two hours and may run longer depending on sky conditions and the interest of the group. The guides adapt each session to the season and the phase of the Moon in order to show the most striking objects visible that night. A photograph with the Milky Way and Teide is included and is later delivered through a private high-resolution download link, and coffee, tea or hot chocolate is served during the evening.
The activity is booked in advance and the exact meeting point is given after booking, since places each night are limited. Warm clothing, comfortable shoes and a jacket are recommended, because nights at Teide are cold even though the refuge offers shelter. If the weather does not hold, the operator offers to move the date. It also runs astrophotography workshops on the Milky Way and long exposure whenever a small group comes together.
