Excursión al Teide, Masca, Garachico e Icod desde Puerto de la Cruz
A day trip by coach from Puerto de la Cruz through Teide National Park, Masca, Garachico and Icod de los Vinos, with a guide who speaks Spanish and other languages. It takes in the Roques de García, the natural rock pools of Garachico and the Drago Milenario, with about an hour and a half free for lunch at your own expense. It lasts 8 to 9 hours.

The trip picks up at hotels and meeting points in Puerto de la Cruz and heads up into Teide National Park, crossing the volcanic landscapes around the 3718 metre peak and stopping by the Roques de García, the rock formation that once appeared on the old 1000 peseta note. It then crosses Santiago del Teide towards Masca, a village in steep mountain country with legends of pirates and hidden treasure.
The route continues to Garachico, with its volcanic natural pools and a historic centre of traditional Canarian buildings, and ends in Icod de los Vinos beside the Drago Milenario, the island's ancient dragon tree. There is about an hour and a half free for lunch, usually in Garachico or at El Portillo depending on the guide; the meal is not included. It is not a walking tour: stops last around 30 minutes, enough to look around each place. The order of the visits may change for organisational reasons.
Coach transport and a guide who speaks Spanish and other languages are included. The exact pickup point and time come with the voucher after booking. Guests staying in Santa Cruz, La Laguna, La Orotava, Candelaria, Las Caletillas or other areas in the north must make their own way to Puerto de la Cruz. The trip takes 8 to 9 hours and is not wheelchair accessible.
