Rastro Guaza
The largest second-hand market in southern Tenerife, in the Guaza neighbourhood of Arona, with around 285 stalls. It runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. What sets it apart from the usual improvised flea market is the layout: a roofed site with the stalls lined up along paved streets. Used clothing, furniture, toys and vintage pieces make up the bulk of it, alongside appliances, tools and a separate section of new and clearance goods.
The Rastro de Guaza runs three days a week, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and it is a fixture for people living in the area as much as for visitors staying in the south of the island. Its scale and its organisation are what set it apart from the usual flea market: a roofed site with the stalls laid out along paved streets, comfortable to walk even on a windy or rainy day. There is wheelchair access, toilets, and cafés inside the site serving local food, meant as a break halfway round.
Most of what is on offer is general second-hand goods: used clothing, toys, decorative items and furniture such as sofas, tables and vintage pieces. Around that sit household appliances, tools, DIY and building material, a separate section of new and clearance stock, and antiques and collectables scattered among the ordinary stalls. Haggling is accepted across much of the site and is the normal way of doing things rather than the exception. For the fullest choice of stock it is worth going on the Friday or early on the Saturday. Car parks and a bus stop are a few metres away.

It occupies an 1,800 square metre building opened in 1970 and brings together food stalls: butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers, bakeries and cake shops, cheese and cured meat counters and herbalists, along with fashion and accessories. It belongs to the Mercados Tradicionales de Canarias network.

Shopping centre opened in July 2026 in Las Chafiras (San Miguel de Abona), next to exit 62 of the TF-1 and a few minutes from Tenerife South airport. More than 45 shops and about ten restaurants on two floors, with a cinema, a supermarket, free parking and electric charging points. Shops open 10:00 to 22:00 every day; the food court closes at midnight.

Its parts were ordered from London and reached the city aboard the steamer Nubia in 1897, and in 1947 the structure was dismantled in the city centre and rebuilt in this neighbourhood. The market's own website describes the building as semi-abandoned, with a single fruit stall still working out of the 18 it once housed.
