Mercadillo de Jinámar
Municipal street market of Telde, in Jinámar, set up between the Ramblas de Jinámar and the Juan Carlos Moreno sports centre. It comes under the markets department of the Ayuntamiento de Telde, which authorises the site and allocates the selling modules. The municipal street trading by-law reserves part of the stalls for farmers, who sell directly what they harvest, and a further part for craft activities.
The market occupies an enclosed public site authorised by the Ayuntamiento de Telde, outside which no trading may take place. It is set up in Jinámar, between the Ramblas de Jinámar and the Juan Carlos Moreno sports centre, and is run by the markets department. The site is divided into marked selling modules, which may be grouped into stalls, and has to meet hygiene requirements and hold a safety and evacuation plan.
The municipal street trading by-law allows the site to be arranged in zones according to the type of goods. It reserves twenty per cent of the modules for farmers, who sell directly what they harvest on their own holdings, and seven per cent for craft activities. A second hand area may also be set up, with used goods or remaining stock, limited to ten per cent of the modules and excluding food.

The market's own website describes the building as semi-abandoned, with a single fruit stall still working out of the 18 it once housed.
