Mel Vegan Fast Food is the fully plant-based branch of the Tenerife chain Mel, and this outlet is on Calle del Castillo, the main shopping street of central Santa Cruz. The menu is fast food: a vegan burger with onion rings, a beetroot hot dog, vegan nuggets, potato wedges and, for dessert, a carrot and walnut brownie.
Everything is made in Tenerife from local ingredients, without preservatives. As well as eating in, you can order by phone and collect, and their frozen and chilled products are sold to take home.
