Compostelana Plaza de España
An Italian restaurant right in the centre of Santa Cruz, next to Plaza de España, that belongs to the long established Compostelana brand and is now run by Sigan Bailando Group; it is the group's largest venue. For anyone avoiding gluten there is gluten free pasta with the sauce of your choice, gluten free pizzas, a gluten free tiramisu and gluten free beer.

The Compostelana name has been part of the Santa Cruz food scene for decades, and this venue, a short walk from Plaza de España, is today the largest of those run by Sigan Bailando Group. The menu is Italian in style, built around pizza and pasta, which makes it a practical place to eat in the centre after a stroll along the seafront or a morning of shopping.
If you cannot eat gluten, there are concrete alternatives: gluten free pasta with the sauce of your choice, gluten free pizzas, gluten free tiramisu and gluten free beer. These are options within a menu that does use gluten, so it is worth mentioning coeliac disease when you order. Delivery and takeaway are also available through the Compostelana en Casa service.
