Southern guachinche famed for grilled meats and lamb among banana groves.
Guachinche El Cordero is a guachinche in San Miguel de Abona, in the south of Tenerife, set in a natural landscape next to a banana plantation.
Its kitchen is built around grilled meats and traditional Canarian dishes: parrillada, papas arrugadas con mojo, carne de cabra, croquetas and gofio, along with its queso asado with marmalade.
It is a family-style guachinche with a large Canarian-style patio divided into five garden areas (Tacande, Taburiente, Tropical, Platanera and Corral), live music and free bananas.
