Museo Roque de los Muchachos

The Roque de los Muchachos Visitor Centre stands at 2,426 metres above sea level in the municipality of Garafía, beside the international astrophysics observatories on the highest point of La Palma. It is laid out as four areas: a welcome room with reception, auditorium, shop and an interactive table on the entrails of the telescopes, plus three exhibition rooms devoted to the sky, to the universe and to the Garafía area.

Cuevas de Buracas

The archaeological and ethnographic complex of Buracas occupies the lower stretch of the Barranco del Corchete, in the municipality of Garafía on La Palma. Discovered in 1941, it brings together several settlements of natural caves set out on three levels, three groups of petroglyphs with geometric motifs and a number of burial grounds. It is an open-air site, reached on foot by a signposted path from Las Tricias.
