Mirador de Los Andenes
High-mountain viewpoint on the rim of the Caldera de Taburiente, overlooking the volcanic amphitheatre and, on clear days, Tenerife's Teide.

Mirador de Los Andenes lies in the high country of La Palma, near the Roque de los Muchachos on the outer rim of the Caldera de Taburiente. From this natural balcony the view plunges into the vast volcanic amphitheatre ringed by summits and Canary pine, one of the most imposing landscapes in the archipelago.
Its altitude and La Palma's clean skies also make it a prized spot for stargazing and night photography, with the Milky Way visible on clear nights. Access is by car along mountain roads that wind among the clouds.

Mirador de Izcagua
Mirador de Izcagua stands in the El Pinar area of Puntagorda, in the north-west of La Palma, right beside the Mercadillo del Agricultor farmers' market. The website of the La Palma Biosphere Reserve presents it as a set of floating viewpoints: walkways edged with glass railings that reach out over the ravine and give a sensation of flight. It is reached by car from the village centre heading north, along the camino del Pinar.
