Mirador del Emigrante
A viewpoint on the Garachico coast built around the monument to the Canary emigrant, at the Risco Partido. The council's tourism site dates its inauguration to 3 August 1990 and credits the sculptor and poet Fernando García Ramos: a two metre bronze human figure standing on a stone base of the same height, with a plaque alluding to emigration.

The viewpoint looks out to sea at the Risco Partido, in the municipality of Garachico, beside the road linking Icod with Buenavista. What gives it its name is the monument to the Canary emigrant, a tribute to those who had to leave for the Americas in search of work.
According to the council's tourism site, the ensemble was inaugurated on 3 August 1990, when the association Chicharros Mensajeros, through its president Roberto Torres del Castillo, presented it to the town. It is the work of the sculptor and poet Fernando García Ramos, who designed a two metre bronze human figure to stand on a stone base of the same height, carrying a plaque that alludes to emigration.

Mirador de Izcagua stands in the El Pinar area of Puntagorda, in the north-west of La Palma, right beside the Mercadillo del Agricultor farmers' market. The website of the La Palma Biosphere Reserve presents it as a set of floating viewpoints: walkways edged with glass railings that reach out over the ravine and give a sensation of flight. It is reached by car from the village centre heading north, along the camino del Pinar.
