Mirador de Morro Velosa
César Manrique viewpoint in inland Fuerteventura.

The Mirador de Morro Velosa stands at around 669 metres above sea level in the interior of Fuerteventura, near Betancuria, the island's old capital. It was designed by the Lanzarote artist and architect César Manrique, true to his idea of blending the building into the landscape: a house with a wooden porch and a roof clothed in the colours of the volcanic surroundings. From its window you look out over much of the north and centre of the island, with Tindaya mountain and El Cotillo to the north, and the inland villages and Antigua to the south. It is reached by car along the Betancuria road.
