Mirador de El Bailadero

sellViewpointsstorefrontIslas24sunny28°C

An Anaga massif viewpoint in Tenerife, overlooking the village of Taganana and the rugged north-east coast.

Islas24

The Mirador de El Bailadero looks out over the heart of the Anaga massif, one of the oldest and greenest corners of Tenerife. From its natural balcony a sweeping view opens onto the village of Taganana nestled among the mountains and onto the abrupt north-east coast, where the ravines fold down to the Atlantic.

The surroundings are part of a landscape declared a Biosphere Reserve, dotted with laurel forest and sharp ridges that shift in appearance with the mist and the light. Counted among the island's finest viewpoints, it is a natural stop for anyone driving the winding roads of Anaga in search of their most spectacular vistas.

Mirador de Izcagua

Mirador de Izcagua stands in the El Pinar area of Puntagorda, in the north-west of La Palma, right beside the Mercadillo del Agricultor farmers' market. The website of the La Palma Biosphere Reserve presents it as a set of floating viewpoints: walkways edged with glass railings that reach out over the ravine and give a sensation of flight. It is reached by car from the village centre heading north, along the camino del Pinar.
