La Casa del Carnaval

La Casa del Carnaval opened in 2017 in the park of the barranco de Santos, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and is devoted to the city's Carnival, the only one in the Canary Islands declared of International Tourist Interest. The building covers 1,052 square metres arranged in four areas, among them a permanent room whose content is highly interactive. The symbolic pieces on display include the first poster ever used to announce the festival, the work of the painter Juan Galarza, and the ceremonial baton that Enrique González, director of the Afilarmónica Ni Fú-Ni Fá, used for conducting.
