TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes
Cultural centre for contemporary art, photography and a library in a Herzog & de Meuron building.

Opened in 2008 and designed by the Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, TEA is a large cultural complex of more than twenty thousand square metres in the heart of Santa Cruz. It brings together a contemporary art centre, a photography space and the municipal library.
Its permanent collection revolves around the work of the Tenerife-born Surrealist painter Óscar Domínguez, while temporary shows keep the capital's cultural calendar fresh. The brightness of its interiors and the MiniTEA children's area make it very popular with families.
